Fostering a dog, cat, puppy or kitten is one of the most important things you can do to help save lives. The rescue groups pulling from the Roswell Animal Control facility depend on short-term Roswell fosters to look after the animals before transport to other New Mexico cities or out of state. If you live outside of Roswell. please also consider registering to be a foster - often NM and out of state rescues can only accept animals into their program if there are fosters available in their local area - which just be might be where you live. Also, from time to time short-term fosters are needed in cities throughout NM and Colorado until the rescue is able to take the animal. So we encourage anyone interested in fostering to sign up! It is such a rewarding experience to know that you've helped a pet in his journey to a new happy life!
